Info
The second single from the Timeless Interpretations album, a project which Dopeness Galore created with Timeless records. Timeless is a famous jazz label founded 1975 in the Netherlands. The label holds a catalogue consisting more than 700 titles of the most highly anticipated jazz artists of our time, including: Dizzy Gillespie, Chet Baker, Art Blakey, Lou Donaldson, Cedar Walton, Batida, Machito, Pharaoh Sanders and Johnny Griffin. Interpretations of the last two artists can be found on the first single of a series which will be led to an album.
On the A side of the single you will find The Politik, a collaboration between New Zealand’s keyboardist Mark de Clive-Lowe and London’s jazz/brokenbeat vocalist Bembe Segue. For this single they made an interpretation based on The high priestess of gone, a track by drummer Eddie Marshall. Using the spirit of the song and adding their vibes on top of it, The Politik created a song that let’s you vibrate in your own peace: High Priestess.
The B side is created by Dutch producer I.N.T. and features Melodee. Travelling from a break, through hip hop with a hint of a boogie twist ending in an acoustic performance, I.N.T. is able to tell you a story trough several moods. Using Beatrice by Chet Baker and Philip Catherine, I.N.T. made it Beat Rise.

Tony Sabanskis: “Great track, you saw the crowds reaction!”
Dustygroove.com: “2 great tracks from the Timeless Records remix project, High Priestess has an overall sound that would make Larry Mizell proud!”
