Overlast

Overlast, born ’86, has been playing drums since he was able to reach them. As soon as he discovered other production tools, he began to layer synth sounds and start to experiment with old amplifiers and mixers. Then he starts listening to artists as The Beatles and get heavy influenced by the way they treated sound. Right now his production emerged into a drum sound reminding us of some early Motown stuff, while his production brings up memories of the electronic funk movement at the end of the 90’s.

The first twelve he’d released “Sister Envelope” had a limited paint job and featured London’s UMOD while his second twelve went with separate printed art and featured London’s broken beat legend Depth Charge.

Both gems to dig for..no second pressings available!
